Janelle Saffin MP again has gone into bat for more than 230 Norco employees, local dairy farmers and small businesses who rely on the co-operative, calling for a State rescue package to help rebuild its flood-damaged ice-cream factory in South Lismore. The package comprises of extra funding and a holiday from payroll tax.
Janelle Saffin MP has asked NSW Treasurer Matt Kean for a 12-month time extension to allow locals to continue using their Dine NSW and Discover NSW vouchers in flood-affected LGAs on the Northern Rivers.
