In a landmark announcement, Lismore MP Janelle Saffin joined NSW Premier Chris Minns in welcoming more than 400 new homes for East Lismore under the NSW Government’s Resilient Lands Program.
River health is one of Janelle Saffin MP’s top priorities and she welcomes state-of-the-art technology to track how well fish and other wildlife are doing in North Coast rivers and creeks over the next year.
Janelle Saffin MP has secured a NSW Labor election commitment to invest $30 million in a Build-to-Rent pilot program for the Northern Rivers. Lismore, Murwillumbah, Tweed Heads and Ballina will be among the first centres to benefit.
