LISMORE MP Janelle Saffin says the NSW Government is supporting Tweed Shire Council and Rous County Council to manage important estuarine areas with grants totalling $291,663.
Lismore MP Janelle Saffin says North East Waste and its six member council will use grants totalling $89,700 to provide education about how best to use local food organics and garden organics (FOGO) collection services.
Janelle Saffin has long advocated for the phasing out of single-use plastics in NSW, starting with a ban on lightweight plastic bags from
June 1, 2022.
