MEMBER FOR Lismore Janelle Saffin MP has welcomed the announcement of a Federal parliamentary inquiry into insurers’ response to the 2022 floods across Australia and reiterated her call for a government-based insurance program.
Janelle Saffin MP has welcomed as major wins NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet’s announcement that Lismore will get a new SES Incident Control Centre and that Murwillumbah SES unit’s facilities will also be upgraded.
Janelle Saffin MP says it’s essential that the NSW Government put in place a high level of appropriate support for commercial and residential landlords to match its commitment to ‘build back better’ from the February 2022 flood.
