Three recipients share in $446,350 worth of infrastructure grants

TWO local sporting clubs and Lismore City Council will share in $446,350 worth of NSW Government Infrastructure Grants, Lismore MP Janelle Saffin has announced.

LISMORE MP Janelle Saffin has congratulated two sporting clubs and Lismore City Council on sharing in $446,350 worth of funding under the NSW Government’s Infrastructure Grants Program’s November 2025 round.

Ms Saffin said the grants are made possible by the Clubgrants Category 3 Fund, which reinvests a contribution from the state’s registered clubs gaming machine profits back into community projects.

Successful projects include:

  • $277,590 to Lismore City Bowling and Recreation Club for the installation of the synthetic green.
  • $115,698 to Lismore City Council for the upgrade of the Crozier Field drainage system.
  • $53,062 to Kyogle Netball Association for the upgrading of the lighting.

Ms Saffin said she was pleased that Lismore City Bowling Club’s main bowling green, which has required ongoing and costly maintenance after the 2022 floods, would be replaced with a more resilient synthetic green.

“I join NSW Minister for Gaming and Racing David Harris in congratulating all three recipients on securing this vital funding for these worthwhile projects,” Ms Saffin said.
