LISMORE”S flood-damaged landfill site in East Lismore has been restored four months ahead of schedule, NSW Minister for Recovery and Lismore MP Janelle Saffin has announced.

LISMORE MP Janelle Saffin has officially opened the new Fernside Bridge west of Lismore, the last of 11 bridges upgraded by Lismore City Council under the Fixing Country Bridges program.

Minister for Recovery Janelle Saffin and Minister for Local Government Ron Hoenig were on hand to welcome the first of eight new garbage trucks for Lismore City Council. This $5-million NSW Government investment secures local council jobs and improves waste collection services into the future.
