A $10.6-million upgrade of Wilsons Creek Road will make travel more reliable and flood resilient for residents of Wilsons Creek, Huonbrook and Wanganui. The Byron Shire hinterland flood recovery project was jointly funded by the Minns and Albanese Labor governments.
NSW Minister for Recovery Janelle Saffin says Wilsons Creek Road is being built back better to become more flood resilient under the NSW and Australian governments’ Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
