LISMORE MP Janelle Saffin’s major election commitment of $7.5 million to upgrade safety at the notorious Alphadale crossroads will receive a $3.9-million Budgetary boost to ensure it is progressed to construction.
Lismore MP Janelle Saffin is encouraging local residents to have their say on the final safety solution for the notorious Alphadale crossroads east of Lismore. Transport for NSW is recommending traffic lights instead of a roundabout.
MEMBER for Lismore Janelle Saffin says the NSW Labor Government has honoured its election commitment to fund a roundabout at the Alphadale crossroads on the Bruxner Highway.
Janelle Saffin MP has secured over $41 million in NSW Labor funding commitments for fixing roads and bridges across our Electorate of Lismore, contingent on a Minns Labor Government being elected on 25 March.
While Janelle Saffin MP has welcomed Transport for NSW’s confirmation of planning for dual carriageway of the Bruxner Highway between Goonellabah and Wollongbar, she is insisting that interim safety measures should come first.
