The Baird State Liberal Government, supported by National MPs, has given police new powers to crack down on mining and coal seam gas protesters.
This bill directly targets peaceful protesters such as the Knitting Nanna's and others who have been instrumental in stopping harmful CSG mining.
The bill allows search and seizure powers for police and increases the fine for aggravated unlawful entry on enclosed lands to $5,500.
The right to protest peacefully is a defining feature of liberal democracy and must be protected.
Stand with Janelle Saffin against these new laws by signing this petition and send a message to the NSW Baird Government.
